Aerialists!

What an adventure we had with these talented, and beautiful young ladies last Thursday in the park! I was blown away by the kind of strength and stamina it takes to excel at aerial acrobatics on the hoop. There are dozens of named moves that they were calling out to each other to suggest some breathtaking poses that we were ready to capture! I mean, come on - wow!!!

Mariah

These three happily took turns posing for 5 different photographers in the park. Our shutters were going fiercely as they hung upside down, demonstrated their flexibility, balance and focused strength to the max. Supported by a strong tree, the hoop was attached to a swivel so it rotated for each photographer to get the perfect angle and shot!

AriElla

With costume changes and even a hoop switch out, we got lots of different looks, poses and a variety of shots that we were so happy with! These talented girls hooped for almost 4 hours, and to spite their silk burns, bruises and calluses, they still stuck with it into the magic hour.

Christina

I moved around to get a variety of picturesque backgrounds including a low angle so they look like they are super high up in the pine trees, shots with the San Gabriel mountains behind them, and a few with the brilliant green grass behind them. These girls showed incredible elegance, grace and professionalism! Here are a few of my favorites:

How ridiculously talented are these 3?! I would love the opportunity to visit their studio sometime so we can professionally light them and have them knock us dead with some tricks that they may have not been willing to do in an unpadded park setting.

Thank you to Mariah, AriElla and Christina for making this photoshoot a complete success! You all have some outstanding talents and I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us in the future! Keep reaching for the stars girls!!!

Thank you!!!

Thank you!!!
